what's in a name? ::

Jason Denham has been working with denim for 15 years (ex. making custom pieces of U2 back in 92 with Joe Caseley-Hayford). his extensive work in the industry has inspired his own signature collection titled "the truth is in the details".

check out Denham the Jeanmaker and his Spring/Summer 09 line.

produced in Italy and Japan by a sake maker/denim tailor named Hiro, who gifted 100 bottles of Denham branded Sake for the store's opening launch in January (the first family sake to leave Japan in over 7 generations) complete's Denham the Jeanmakers first collection.

the unique story behind Hiro's life and his involvement with the brand add an authentic aura to the company. the Sake packaging is ridiculous. love it.

the Denham Design House opened in January in the "9 Streets" area of Amsterdam.

the use of scissors from id to wall mounts to carefully displayed vintage pieces in the museum set-up of the store amaze me. great attention to detail and a well thought out piece.
