the controversial Maison Martin Margiela premiered his S/S 10 collection to mixed reviews.

the question of whether the designer is still at the helm of the company is hanging over the heads of fans, the press and buyers alike.

the collection consisted of paper. paper over the knee boots and paper t-shirts on all of the models for the final walk. there were chaps, and chains, and gauzy strips of material. the models make-up stuck to the avante gard norm of the designer, but where was the boundry- pushing designs?

:: in the end, there were a few covetable pieces and looks, and everything was 'interesting', but since when is that the most descriptive word for the elusive designers collection?
