i have some new loves. one is the new love rings i got for my girls for valentines day, below on a few of us, and the oher is O.P.I.'s Axxium gel polish.

::basically, they paint on the gel in layers after they have buffed your nails to perfection- clear and then your choice of the 12 OPI colors currently offered (Lincoln Park After Dark is one of them!). under a UV light the gel dries in relatively no time and forms a glossy coat that lasts.

:: only certain salons/ manicurists are able to do this service. it costs $35 here in Boston at Beantown Nails (go to Chi- she's amazing), but if you get a manicure every week anyway it ends up saving you money.

staff from the tannery and concepts, as well as other local businesses, are featured alongside animals that have been rescued by the shelter and other pets for Jamn 94.5's DJ Pup Dawg's 2010 MSPCA Calendar.

:: buy the calendar here http://bit.ly/6XGWOh and help take care of the homeless animals cared for at the MSPCA. the calendar can be purchased for $20, with $15 going to the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to animals and $5 going to the relief efforts in Haiti.

i finally made it over to charles street in boston to my friend peter's new spot, Uncle Pete's. i don't know why i have been so overloaded and busy lately, but it's no excuse...

Brooklyn's pop-up shop space 303 Grand, catering to the likes of artists, designers, etc. will be hosting the first ever pop-up wedding shop/chapel.

:: love this concept.

run by my friends over at Street Attack, the space will host three weeks of events and wedding ceremonies through the month of June, up to 10 couples will be wed between June 25th-28th.

supporter martha stewart weddings will also help host a contest to create one couples dream wedding and a honeymoon to boot.

Tophop officially opened it's doors to NYC. fashionista twittered the action. Kate Moss made an appearance, neighbors Madewell provided coffee, and soon after cocktails.

so. sad. i. missed. it.

i've never quite understood waiting in line for over an hour for anything myself, or even say 4 days for the lobster dunk at Concepts...but for this...it could have been worth it.

last night my friend Liv premiered her senior exhibit SWEET at the AIB (Art Institute of Boston). good times, yummy donuts (there was a theme, yes) good music and good friends.
