Karl Lagerfeld's presentation for Chanel S/S 2010 was country-bumpkin/ high-fashion at its best.

as many reviewers pointed out, Karl Lagerfeld recently bought a home in Vermont, and they attribute this last collection and runway presentation to that influence. growing up in Vermont, I have to say I've never seen anything like this.
it. was. amazing.
the models chosen were perfection. Dree Hemingway :: so unbelievably classy :: Anja Rubik, Lara Stone, Sasha Pivovarova.... (who strut the runway clad in a classic Chanel jacket and wide leg pants, holding a cell phone to her messy-perfect-updo :: fyi-if in Vermont, she wouldn't be able to find reception. the casting was on point in this show.
:: Classic Chanel handbags: some highlights.
:: backstage access. amazing tattoo inspired details done backstage. love the CC dripping jewelry. genius Karl!
:: male model Baptiste Giabiconi with models Freja Beha Erichsen and Dree Hemingway (the solo male model walked four times with Freja, and their cute couple matchy outfits and styling were beyond lust-worthy).
